1. What's this B88 Postpaid Plan Complimentary Travel Data eSIM about?

At just RM88/month, the B88 Postpaid Plan comes with complimentary 18GB travel data across 88 countries. No contract is needed, so you can stay connected effortlessly.

 

2. Who can get their hands on this?

This service is available exclusively to B88 Postpaid Plan subscribers with an account in good standing and an eSIM-compatible device.

 

3. How does the 88-country coverage work?

As long as you travel to any one of the 88 listed countries, you are entitled to enjoy a daily allocation of up to 1GB high-speed data, refreshed daily (Malaysia time) based on your use and for a total period of 18 days.

Note: Any unused data quota will not be carried forward. The complimentary 18GB travel data will refresh at the start of each new billing cycle.

 

 

Zone A (13 countries): Upon successful activation of your B88 Postpaid Plan, you will automatically receive an eSIM for your complimentary travel data, which covers the most frequently visited countries by Malaysians. The setup details will be emailed to you within 48 working hours from your B88 plan activation. This eSIM can be stored on your phone as long as your B88 plan remains active.

 

Zone A Country List:

 

Zone B (75 countries): You may request a separate eSIM for countries listed under Zone B at least 48 working hours before your travel departure via either one of the following channels:

 

(i)            WhatsApp at +6010-3333010; or

(ii)           XOX’s official customer service hotline; or

(iii)          email to support_lifestyle@xox.com.my.

 

The setup details shall be delivered via email to you within 48 working hours (Malaysia time) from your request. You can request a new QR code for each country you visit, as long as it's within your 18GB data entitlement limit.

 

The eSIM issued to you for Zone B is a one-time use eSIM. Once you have concluded your travel abroad, you can delete the eSIM from your device. For future travel to any countries listed under Zone B, you will need to request a new eSIM.

4. How long does the eSIM last?

The eSIMs have differing activation windows:

• The Zone A eSIM must be activated within 30 days of receipt.
• The Zone B eSIM must be activated within 7 days of receipt.

Failure to activate within these periods will result in the eSIM expiring, and no free replacement will be provided.

 

5. What happens if I use up all my data?

Once the daily high-speed data of up to 1GB is exhausted, the data speed will be adjusted to 256kbps for the rest of the day.

 

6. Can I make calls or send SMS with this eSIM?

The Travel Data eSIM supports data only. It does not support traditional voice calls or SMS. Data-based apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger) can be used for calls and messages.

 

7. Can I get a replacement eSIM if I accidentally deleted it?

Yes. A replacement eSIM can be requested at https://shop.xox.com.my/travelesim. A replacement is subject to prevailing charges and will only continue the unexpired validity period and any remaining data quota from the original eSIM.

 

8. What happens to my complimentary eSIM if my B88 Postpaid Plan is suspended or terminated?

The Service will be terminated concurrently with the termination or expiry of your B88 Postpaid plan. In the event your subscription is barred, the Service will also be terminated. After you have reactivated your subscription, you may request a replacement eSIM, subject to the prevailing charges.

 

9. Can I transfer the eSIM to another device?

No. Once you install the eSIM, it is provisioned to your device and cannot be transferred.

 

10. Are there any usage restrictions on the eSIM?

This service is for personal, non-commercial use only. XOX reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or throttle data speed if usage is determined to be excessive or in violation of our terms and conditions.
