Terms & Conditions for the usage of XOX MOBILE operator services and products

eSIM Terms & Conditions



1.       The Services are made available to you by XOX MOBILE (hereinafter referred to as “XOX”). The Services are subject to these general terms and conditions and the specific terms and conditions of each Service. Upon activation, you are deemed to have read, unconditionally accepted, and be bounded by these terms and conditions.


2.       XOX reserves the right to control, amend, vary, and/or modify the rules relating to the use of Service at any time without prior notice. The amendments, variations, and/or modifications shall take effect on such date determined fit by XOX and whereby the Subscriber with the continued use of the Service shall immediately be bounded by the same.



1.       XOX eSIM is available to all Malaysian citizens with at least TWELVE (12) years of age (hereinafter referred to as “Subscriber(s)”) according to National Registration Identification Card (NRIC).


2.       BLACK, WAWA Prepaid, and ONEXOX Prepaid terms and conditions apply.


3.       One Subscriber can only register up to a maximum of FIVE (5) profiles, regardless of physical SIM or eSIM and Prepaid or BLACK, under single user NRIC. Malaysian citizens are required to register using valid NRIC only.



1.       eSIM is an embedded SIM in device, where information is updated wirelessly, enabling a mobile number without the need of a physical SIM card.


2.       Subscribers may use the eSIM service to make phone calls, answer phone calls, and use mobile data service on Designated Smart Devices without a physical SIM. XOX eSIM can be used on Designated Smart Devices listed below:

3.       Upon successful application, an eSIM QR code will be allocated to the Designated Smart Device. Subscriber is required to activate the Service on the Designated Smart Device according to instructions provided.


4.       XOX eSIM QR Code is only scannable for ONE (1) time.


5.       The Service is only supported by ONE (1) Designated Smart Device at any given time. In the event Subscriber switches to another device, Subscriber is required to apply for a new eSIM QR code or a physical SIM Card in order to reactivate the Service. Subscriber may execute such SIM replacement via XOX Self Care. The standard rate or SIM replacement, RM10 shall apply. However, the service on the previous device shall be terminated. Subscriber is required to remove the previous eSIM profile on the previous device.

6.       In the event that Subscriber loses the device, or the device is stolen or damaged with the eSIM profile is loaded on it, do contact XOX immediately to deactivate the eSIM services. XOX will not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, costs, personal injury, or expenses suffered arising directly or indirectly as a result of such loss, stolen, or damaged device. In order to regain access and control of the eSIM, Subscriber will be able to reactive the eSIM on the same or new device only after obtaining a new QR code from XOX.



1.       XOX eSIM is available for BLACK, WAWA Prepaid, and ONEXOX Prepaid through new registration, COP, and COBP.

2.       Available eSIM BLACK plans are as shown in the table below:



3.       Subscribers that are interested to sign up with XOX eSIM can select from the available eSIM BLACK Plans, WAWA Prepaid Plans, or ONEXOX Prepaid Plan.



1.       Mobile Number Portability (MNP) is available to all Subscribers to switch from their current Mobile Service Provider to XOX eSIM Services.

2.       MNP is available for both XOX eSIM BLACK and Prepaid Plan.

3.       The MNP request may be subjected to a non-refundable porting fee in any event whatsoever.

4.       Only active mobile number at the time of the request are eligible for porting in to XOX eSIM. Mobile number and NRIC which have been suspended, terminated, blacklisted on XOX database, and/or barred will not be eligible for Porting.

5.       Subscribers may request to port-in to XOX eSIM via XOX Online Store.



1.       XOX eSIM Replacement is available for all existing ONEXOX Prepaid, WAWA Prepaid, and BLACK Subscribers, excluding B10 Subscribers, to switch from their current physical SIM Card to XOX eSIM.

2.       Subscribers are required to perform a SIM Replacement when they switch their device (eSIM to eSIM).

3.       Subscribers may request for eSIM Replacement to XOX eSIM via XOX Self Care.

4.       All SIM Replacement Process including Physical SIM Card to eSIM, eSIM to Physical SIM Card, and eSIM to eSIM are required to go through SIM Activation Process.

5.       The eSIM Replacement request may be subjected to a non-refundable fee in any event whatsoever. Please refer to the tables below for the charges:





1.       XOX eSIM Subscribers (BLACK, WAWA Prepaid, and ONEXOX Prepaid) may upgrade their plan to other available XOX eSIM BLACK plans.

2.       There is no SIM Replacement process required for eSIM Subscribers to change plan.

3.       Subscribers will either receive an eSIM BLACK plan upgrade confirmation notification or an unsuccessful notification.

4.       Subscribers’ plan will take effective upon the confirmation notification.

1.       The Terms and Conditions of BLACK, WAWA Prepaid, and ONEXOX Prepaid are still applicable to these Terms and Conditions.


2.       XOX reserve the rights without liability, to revise the Terms and Conditions. Where reasonably practicable, XOX will give the Subscriber reasonable prior notice of such changes. Once such changes have been made, all previous versions of XOX Subscriber guides or leaflets will be superseded.


3.       The Subscriber accepts responsibility to regularly review information on the Services at XOX’s website, including changes to this Terms and Conditions. The Subscriber’s continued use of the Services (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the Terms and Conditions) shall constitute unconditional acceptance of such revisions/changes and thereafter the Subscriber shall be bound by the same. If the Subscriber do not accept such revisions/changes, the Subscriber may discontinue using the Service, failing to do so shall be assumed that the Subscriber have accepted the changes.

4.       If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is unenforceable, then such provision shall remain in full force and effect.


5.       These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and each part shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations hereto and in the event of any litigation thereto shall be submitted only to the jurisdiction of either the Courts of Kuala Lumpur and/or Selangor.
